Edward Wilkes Obituary

Edward "Eddie" B. Wilkes II, age 40, of Taberg, passed away peacefully on March 5, 2024, at Albany Medical Center.

Eddie was born in Utica on October 16, 1983. He worked various contractor jobs in the area, especially roofing. He enjoyed camping, landscaping, and spending time with his children.

Eddie is survived by his daughter Eleeciya Wilkes who was his "Little Lady;" sons, Stephan (Sapphire) Hildenbrandt, and Evan Hildenbrandt; his mother, Robyn (Richard) McGilton; sisters, Keri Bingham, Kelly Wilkes, Shelly Wilkes, and Billie Jean Tebo; the love of his life, Hilda; several nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews; and his long-time best friend, Jimmy "Jim Bob" Hildenbrandt. He was predeceased by his brother, Eric Wilkes.

Eddie's funeral will be held on Tuesday, March 12, at 11 AM, at the Barry Funeral Home, 807 W. Chestnut Street. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.

Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home on Monday from 4 to 7 PM.
