Gary Boulerice Obituary
Born on July 28, 1941 in Chazy, NY he was the son of the late Leo and Evelyn Supernaw Boulerice. He was a 1960 graduate of Rome Free Academy. Gary held numerous jobs during his lifetime, as an auto mechanic, carpenter, meat cutter, health care provider with the DDSO and retired from the Department of Corrections in 2004.
On October 26, 1961, he married the love of his life Muriel J Stratton.
Gary was a very giving man and could be called upon to help anyone in need. He always enjoyed being creative while working with his hands, hunting and fishing. He was a member of the Baron Steuben Lodge #264 F&AM and the Ziyara Shriners Hospital.
In addition to his parents, Gary was preceded in death by his older brother Alden Boulerice. Gary is survived by his beloved wife; his sons Donald (Christine) Boulerice and Daryn Boulerice; Grandchildren Alison Boulerice and Austin Loebe; two sisters Gail (Robert) Baldygo and Deborah (Michael) Gallagher; two brothers Clarence (Donna) Boulerice and Leo (Patricia) Boulerice; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, November 16, 2024 at Zion Episcopal Church, 140 W Liberty St. Rome, NY. Family and friends are invited to call prior to the service at the church on Saturday from 10-11:00 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Gary's honor may be made to Shriners Children's Hospital.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Nunn and Harper Funeral Home, Inc., 418 N. George St., Rome, NY 13440.
