Jennifer Combs Obituary

In Loving Memory of Jennifer Williamson Combs

Jennifer J. Combs, age 47, of Rome, passed away on July 21, 2023 surrounded by her loved ones.

She was born on March 9, 1976, in New Hartford, NY, a beloved daughter of Robert Williamson and Maureen Corrigan. Jennifer graduated from TR Proctor High School and went on to become a talented hair stylist, working in various local salons, and most recently, with Kerri Marie's Shear Genius in Clinton, where she worked with multiple friends that became family to her.

Jenn was very passionate about everything she did and was a very selfless human being, putting everyone else's needs before her own. She loved her kids unconditionally and devoted her life to them.

Jenn had a very fierce personality and was tenacious and strong. She was loving, kind, courageous, and compassionate.

Jenn enjoyed hosting many holiday parties and events throughout the years including birthdays, Memorial Day, and 4th of July parties. She always made sure every holiday and event were special for her kids, especially with the amazing cakes she made over the years.

Not only did she enjoy numerous family camping trips and vacations, but she also devoted her time to volunteering for school events, sports, gymnastics, dance, scouts as well as anything else the kids were involved in.

Jennifer is survived by her children, Matthew Combs, Zachary "Zac" Combs, and Emma Combs, their loving father David Combs, all of Rome; her mother, Maureen Corrigan of FL; her father, Robert Williamson of New Hartford; her sister, Becky and husband Jerry Forrester of UT; her brother, Craig Williamson of Liverpool; her aunt, Valerie Corrigan of Liverpool; her uncle, John Corrigan; her aunt, Nancy Gadzialla, and several cousins. Jenn had many life-long friends (her other family) including Nicki Alberico and her children. Nicki and Dave stayed by her side round the clock during her battle with cancer. She was preceded in death by her maternal and paternal grandparents, Jane and Joseph Corrigan, Clifford and Mary Williamson, as well as her uncle, Bill Corrigan and her in-laws Don and Polly Combs.

Jennifer's family would like to express their gratitude to all the doctors, nurses, and hospital staff for their support during this difficult time.

Per Jennifer's wishes, there will be a public visitation on Wednesday July 26, 2023 from 6:00pm - 8:00pm. Arrangements are with Dimbleby Funeral Homes, Inc., 40 Main St., Whitesboro, NY.
