Jonathan Tyler "Ty" Moore

Jonathan Tyler Moore, 39, of Denver, CO, died, unexpectedly, on Saturday, December 14, 2024.

Ty was born on February 16, 1985, to Dr. Ronald and Phyllis (Rentmeester) Moore, in New Hartford, NY. He attended Clinton High School, graduating in the Class of 2003 and graduated from Rider University, in Lawrenceville, NJ, with a Bachelor's Degree in Finance. Ty was a gifted athlete, playing football and baseball in high school. Ty played quarterback and helped pitch the "Boys of Summer" 2002 team to a Section 3 Class B title and State Semifinals. He set the CCS Class B record for most wins in a season. He went on to college and pitched for the Division 1 Rider Broncs.

On February 14, 2014, he married Dr. Lorette Johnson, having one daughter, Madelyn.

If you know Ty, you knew how much he loved to ski, play golf or play any game in general. He was a competitive athlete. Ty will always be remembered for his sense of humor and his gift for always being able to put a smile on your face. He had amazing creativity, building small projects for his loved ones and asked nothing in return. His memory will live on in the hearts of all those who loved him.

Ty was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Fabian and Nola Rentmeester; and paternal grandmother, Lorena Moore.

He is survived by his beloved daughter, Madelyn; mother, Phyllis Moore; father, Dr. Ronald (Denise) Moore; siblings, Ryan (Danielle) Moore and Lindsey (Jarod) Petrie; paternal grandfather, Wesley Moore; his two special nephews, Aiden and Jackson Petrie; stepsisters, Kelly (Ralph) Mirabelli, Tory (Andrew) Lemire and Lindsey (David) Adams and their families; and his former wife, Dr. Lorette Johnson.

Calling hours will be 3-6 p.m. on Friday, December 27 at Owens-Pavlot & Rogers Funeral Service in Clinton, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Mary's Church on Saturday, December 28 at 11 a.m.
