Joe you were a great mentor and boss, I think u did more claims and got benefits for vets all over the Country than any VSO IN THE AMERICAN LEGION! We all thank you and will have a hard time filling the whole in our hearts!

Throughout his post-Air Force career, Joe was a true champion of the military veteran in Oneida County and throughout New York State. As a result of his tireless efforts, thousands of Central NY vets lived a better life because of Joe. To the end, he never stopped serving.

Im so sorry to see that Joe has left us but he has earned his place with Jesus. What a great guy. I think of him every time I ride past his flag hanging on Chestnut St. in Griffiss Park. He was such a tremendous help to me when my husband passed, in my time of need. He will surely be missed. RIP Joe, you earned it!
