Lynn A. Breen

1959 - 2023

West Leyden - Lynn A. Breen, 63, of State Route 26 passed away on January 25, 2023 at Mid-Hudson Valley Division of Westchester Medical Center, Poughkeepsie, N.Y.

She was born in Rome, N.Y. on October 27, 1959 a daughter of Joseph and Mary Rutledge Jones. Lynn grew up on Hillside Road in the Town of Western and graduated from Adirondack Central High School in 1976 and graduated from Herkimer College in 1978 with a degree in accounting. Lynn was Director of ASC Services at Mohawk Valley Community College for over 40 years, retiring in 2018. She married Frank Breen in 1995 and settled in West Leyden.

Lynn enjoyed going to camp at South Lake and making spaghetti sauce every fall with her family.

Surviving are her husband Frank; her parents, Joseph and Mary Jones, Town of Western; one son and daughter -in- law, Broc and Natasha Breen, Boonville; a step son, Josh Breen, grandchildren, Jameson and Wesley Breen, step grandchildren, Raelynne, Callie, and Emmett; two sisters and brother- in -law, Karen and Kevin Heath, and Glenda Jones, all of Westernville; nieces and nephews, Glen and Paige Jackson, Justus Jo and Justin Jones, great nieces and nephew, Talon, Autumn and Willow. She was predeceased by her first husband, Dennis Anson.

There will be calling hours on Monday, January 30, 2023 from 4-7 p.m. at Mills Funeral Home, 301 Post Street, Boonville. Burial in the spring at Westernville Cemetery.
