Manuel was my close friend from childhood to our college years. He lived right down the street from me in Harvey, IL. We occasionally got together during our adult lives and careers, but distance made it difficult. My last contact was a phone call shortly after Vicki's passing. He was grieving deeply over her loss. I deeply regret that I did not stay in closer touch with my dear friend. I was looking Manuel up as I will be in upstate NY in May, 2024 and was hoping to visit. (I live in Chicago area), and am shocked to find this. Lesson learned. Stay in touch with your friends. I will miss him during the season left here, but will see him again when Christ comes for us. It is hard to believe our beloved brother-in-law, and friend Manuel is no longer with us. Manuel was a caring and loving husband to our sister Vicky for over 38 years. He was everything to her and she thought the world of him.
One of the many ministries they shared, was the ministry of correspondence through their many, thoughtful, handwritten letters and cards. We all found many in our mailboxes over the years - always uplifting our spirits. Vicky began the ministry years ago and Manuel took it over after Vicky passed away four years ago. We recently learned several family members and friends received correspondence from him after his death.
Vicky and Manuel often found comfort in Romans chapter 5 in the Bible - some of their most cherished Bible verses are found here. We learn about suffering, perseverance and hope. Their shared hope and love of God kept them strong. We know their hearts were full of love for God and for each other.
We find joy and comfort in knowing Manuel and Vicky have been reunited in heaven. We truly miss them.

Manuel was my brother in law. He was a beautiful soul. He and I shared some deep, meaningful conversations. I will forever appreciate the wisdom he shared with me and the positive, uplifting comments that always made me think of things in a different light. His passing is bittersweet. He left this earth far too soon but I have no doubt he was in a hurry to be reunited with my sister, Vicky. The love and bond they shared was what we all long for. I know they are together now side by side, hand in hand. Just the same, he is and will continue to be missed.
RIP, Manuel.

My brother Manuel
We had some amazing times together. We ,laughed immensely. Had good conversations and fun together. I miss you and Vicky so much. I remember the time we all took a train ride and sang and laughed so much tears were coming from our eyes. I often look at some of the stuff she would send me. She was an amazing person, just like you. God has a special place for you both. You are both dear to me and will never forget. Give your wife a big hug for me. God Bless you my friend

Manuel, I am going to miss you terribly, your friendship, our conversations together and all the great meals we shred together. I do know though that you are now at peace in heaven with Vicky and having a great time speaking with Jeff about baseball. This is a great loss to the investment casting industry and an end to a wonderful life welled lived.

I was shocked to hear that Manuel has passed .
Manuel was a gentle and funny colleague with a dry wit. He was a devoted husband to the late Victoria, who was always in his mind.
His knowledge of foundry applications was encyclopaedic, and he helped me greatly from the very start of my career.
He will be greatly missed by those colleagues who worked with him, and those hundreds of foundry engineers, of all ages ,from sectors of the industry as diverse as fine art, aerospace, automotive and medical industries whom he influenced throughout his career.
Farewell Manuel.
