Marion Roman Obituary

Marion P. Roman, age 54, of Rome, passed away peacefully on December 27, 2022, at MVHS St. Luke's, after a brief illness.

Marion graduated from Oriskany Central School, and attended Colgate University, NYU, and Columbia University.

Marion is survived by her son, Cameron Thompson of New York City; her parents, Rex Roman and Marylin Dykens; her brothers, Brian (Mary) Roman of Pittsburgh, PA, and Jason (Victoria) Rich of Waterford, NY, nieces and nephews, Elinor and Elizabeth Roman, and Benjamin and Samuel Rich; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Marion's funeral will be held on Friday at 12 Noon, at the Zion Episcopal Church in Rome. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery in the spring.

Relatives and friends may call at the Zion Episcopal Church from 11 AM to 12 Noon prior to the funeral.

Arrangements are entrusted to the Barry Funeral Home, 807 W. Chestnut Street.
