Maude Rozonkiewiecz Obituary
Maude C. Rozonkiewiecz, 90, of Camden, NY, passed away on Tuesday, September 16, 2025, at Rome Health Hospital in Rome, NY.
She was born in Constable, NY, on February 11, 1935, the daughter of the late John and Rose Roscoe Seymore. In 1970, Maude was united in marriage to Frank W. Rozonkiewiecz, of Pulaski, NY, who sadly passed away on July 2, 2012. Maude was a 1952 graduate of Camden Central Schools and worked, for many years, at Harden Furniture until her retirement in 1989.
After her retirement, she enjoyed babysitting for many children, all who lovingly referred to her as "Grandma".
She was a former member of the Camden Ladies Auxiliary. In her younger years, she enjoyed snowmobiling, bowling and camping at Wellesly Island.
She was predeceased by her husband, Frank; parents, John and Rose; two sisters, Dorothy (Leonard) Hatzinger and Shirley (John) DeSenza; and four brothers, John, David, Kenneth and Isaac.
Maude is survived by four daughters, Gail Waterman, of Camden, Brenda Kipp (Charlie Pelow), of Verona, Sherry (Ray) Price, of Williamstown and Annette (Jack) Sochia, of Florida; two sons, Roger (Cindy) Waterman, of Camden and Michael (Julie) Waterman, of Alabama; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; her sister, Nancy (Lynn) Baker; one brother, Ernest (Jean) Seymore; sister-in-law, Nuretta Seymore and Katie Seymore; along with several nieces and nephews.
Maude will be remembered for her sense of humor and her love of celebrating family birthdays and Christmases with family and friends.
The family would like to thank the staff at Betsy Ross for their wonderful care as well as the Rome Health Staff.
Calling hours will be held from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. on Friday, September 19, 2025, at LaRobardiere Funeral Home, 109 Main St., Camden. Graveside service will be celebrated at 12:15 p.m. in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Camden.
In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation, in Maude's memory, to Camden Ambulance or the Camden Ladies Auxiliary.
