Melissa S. Yaworski

Melissa S. Yaworski, 44, of Rome, passed away on Wednesday, April 10, 2024, at Wynn Hospital in Utica. She was born in Syracuse on September 17, 1979, the daughter of Michael and Robin (Melioris) Yaworski. She was a graduate of Rome Free Academy.

She worked as an LPN for many years at various nursing homes, Hospice and Palliative Care, and most recently for Camden Family Care.

She loved spending time with and spoiling her grandchildren.

Melissa is survived by her husband, Lee Martin IV; her parents, Michael and Robin Yaworski; a daughter, Lauren Carambia; her sister, Jodi Yaworski; beloved grandchildren, Luke, Octavia Samuel and Nicholas ; step-daughter, Melissa Pressley (Cameron); her father-in-law, Lee Martin III; her sister-in-law, Laura Martin (Robert); and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her brother, James Yaworski; mother-in-law, Maryann Martin; and grandson, Kristopher Manczak.

Memorial services will be held on Thursday, April 18th at 6:00 p.m. at Nunn and Harper Funeral Home, Inc., 418 N. George St., Rome NY 13440. Interment will take place in Rome Cemetery. Family and friends are invited to call at the funeral home on Thursday prior to the service from 4-6:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in Melissa's memory to Hospice and Palliative Care.
