Michael Przylucki Obituary

1994-2023

Michael "Mikey" C. Przylucki Jr., forever 29, of Verona, passed away, suddenly, on August 28, 2023.

Michael was born in Rome, NY, on February 14, 1994. He was the son of Dulcey "Beth" (Kenney) Przylucki of Verona, NY and Michael C. Przylucki, Sr., of Durhamville, NY. He resided in Utica and previously lived in Charlotte, NC, with plans to return to North Carolina soon.

He graduated from Vernon Verona Sherrill School District, in 2012, where he enjoyed studying music, computers and drama club. Michael was proud to be a jack-of-all-trades, as well as a handy man. He enjoyed building and fixing computers, working in auto mechanics, carpentry and home remodeling and repairs. He also enjoyed a variety of outdoor activities to include biking, hiking, camping and had a special love of fishing, with plans to start a new chapter on ocean fishing boats in the Carolinas. More than anything, he enjoyed being around his family, especially his beloved nephew and niece, Logan and Luna.

Michael leaves behind many loving family members. Besides his mother and father, he is survived by paternal grandparents, Ed and Linda Przylucki, of Carolina Shores, NC; maternal grandmother, JoAnne Huxley, of Rome; older sister and her husband, Crystal and Michael Bielby, of Verona (parents of Logan and Luna, with baby Lucian on the way); younger sister and her husband, Rebecca and Alex Lopez, of Jacksonville, NC; uncle, Erik Kenney, of Rome; and cousins, Kaitlyn Kenney, of Marcy and Eryn Kenney, of Oneonta; as well as several extended cousins. Michael also leaves behind a large number of friends that cared very deeply for him; some of his closest friends were Natalie Williams, Chet Bottorff and Zachariah Johnson, all of Utica. They worked together on a variety of projects and his family wishes to thank them for being such good friends to him. To know him was to love him. His good heart and caring nature touched many and he will be missed dearly by all.

Michael was predeceased by maternal grandfather, Walter "Bud" Huxley; paternal uncle, Stephen Przylucki; maternal aunts, Kristen Kenney and Nancy Dukes; and maternal uncles, Wener "Skip" Francis Golbach, IV and Philip John "PJ" Golbach.

Visitation for family and friends is on Friday, September 8, 2023 from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at the Heintz Funeral Home, 1517 Whitesboro St., Utica, followed by a service at 1:00 p.m. at the conclusion of visitation. He will be laid to rest in Oriskany Cemetery, Oriskany.
