Peter Phillip Kraszewski, 53, of Utica passed away unexpectedly at his work on Wednesday, August 28, 2024 due to an undiagnosed heart related problem.
He was born on November 23, 1970 in Utica a son of Peter K. Slobodian and Elaine M. Kraszewski. He was a 1988 graduate of Proctor at USA.
Peter was employed for over 23 years with United Cerebral Palsy in Utica as a Direct Support Professional.
Peter is remembered by his family as a dependable, Loyal and loving person to his family and friends. He cherished the time that he spent with his family, especially his close friends who were like his brothers. He will be sadly missed. He was a sports enthusiast who loved football, fantasy football and Hockey. He was a huge Chicago Bears fan, a New York Islanders Hockey fan and College Football Texas Longhorns fan.
He is survived by his daughter, Kalifornia M. Kraszewski of New York Mills, his mother, Elaine M. Kraszewski of Yorkville and his sister, Lynn M. Kraszewski of FL. He also leaves his uncle William Kraszewski of Yorkville, his nieces Sasha E. Kraszewski, Kaylee Sim and Natalia Sim all of Utica, a nephew, Phillip T. Gilberti of FL., aunt, Peggy P. Kraszewski of Yorkville, his cousins, Edward Jezowski of CA, Dr. & Mrs Robert Horodnic and Laureen Urbanczyk both of PA. He leaves his "Brothers", Dommie, Gee Bee, Diamond, Mattie DOO, No Doubt, Jim Bob, Joe L. and Dave N. He was predeceased by his close brother and friend, Mike K.
Funeral services will be on Thursday, September 5, 2024 at 10:30 AM at Sacred Heart & St. Mary's Catholic Church in New York Mills where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Interment will be in St. Stanislaus Bishop & Martyr Cemetery in Whitesboro. Family and friends are invited to call on Wednesday September 4, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Dimbleby Funeral Homes Inc. 40 Main St. Whitesboro.

I know a man who knew this man. The character of the man I know tells me a great deal about the man I don´t. It tells me that the man I don´t know is someone who was highly revered and loved.
