Robin S. Yaddow

Robin S. Yaddow, 64, of Rome, passed away on Saturday, March 21, 2026, at St. Peter's Hospital in Albany, NY. Born in Rome on December 5, 1961, she was a daughter of the late Cecil and Beatrice (Edick) Adel. She was married to the late Ronald Yaddow.

Robin devoted much of her life to caring for others as a CNA, working at Rome Hospital and several local nursing homes before transitioning into private home care, where she continued to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those she served. She had a deep love for cats and found her greatest joy in spending time with her grandchildren, creating lasting memories with them. Robin was also incredibly creative and enjoyed arts and crafts, often making beautiful seasonal decorations and handmade items that brought warmth and charm to her home.

She is survived by four daughters, Jessie Burk, Candice Hines, Melissa Burk, and Catherine Yaddow; four sons, William Burk, Christopher Burk (Courtney), Emmett Yaddow, and Ryan Yaddow; a sister, Valerie Ayrey; a brother, Ronald Adel; seven grandchildren and one great-granddaughter; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was predeceased by a daughter, Star Yaddow; and a sister, Sandy Howard.

Family and friends are invited to call on Thursday, March 26th, from 4-6:00 p.m. at Nunn and Harper Funeral Home, Inc., 418 N. George St., Rome NY 13440. Interment will take place in Rome Cemetery.
