Russell Lazarek Obituary
Russ was born in New Hartford of February 3, 2022, to Jennifer Streiff and Steven Lazarek,Jr. He graduated from Holland Patent High School in 2020, where he played football, basketball, and baseball. Russ was currently employed by the Town of Floyd and worked in the Sanitation Department.
Russ loved the outdoors and enjoyed spending time of the family farm. He also loved skiing, snowmobiling, jet skiing, riding his dirt bike, and was an avid NY Giants fan.
Russ is survived by his mother Jennifer (Chris) Storm; his father Steven Lazarek, Jr.;his brothers, Blake Lazarek, Kyle Storm, and Gavin Storm; His maternal grandparents, John Streiff, "poppa John" and Alberta (Gordon) Edwards; his paternal grandmother, Susan Cavoli; his grandmother, Catherine Edwards; and many aunts; uncles, cousins, friends, and many coaches; and last but not least, his faithful and loving Momma dog, Willow.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, at 11 AM, at the Barry Funeral Home, 807 W. Chestnut Street. Burial will take place at The Floyd Cemetery, with a gathering to follow at The Floyd Town Park.
Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home Thursday from 4 to 7 PM.

Our hearts were truly hurting when we heard of Russ´s passing. He was a great kid, and a very good friend to our son Nick. Every time we saw him, he would go out of his way to come up to us and say, "Hi Mr. Fassett/Mrs. Fassett how are you?" in the most respectful and polite manner along with that wonderful smile. He will forever be missed and in our hearts. #51
