Tara Hand-Magana Obituary
Tara was born in Utica on November 7, 1978, to Glenn and Deborah Ferlo Hand. She graduated from RFA in 1997 and earned her associate's degree from MVCC. On April 28, 2017, she was united in marriage to Alvaro Magana. She was formerly employed by the Metropolitan Museum in NYC as a finance controller.
Tara is survived by her devoted husband, Alvaro, and his son, Alvaro "Alex" Jr.; her parents, Deborah and Glenn; her brother, Bryan (Andrea) Hand; her niece, Lola Hand; her nephew, Grady Hand; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends, including her close friends, Greg and Allison.
Tara's funeral will be held on Thursday, at 5 PM, at the Barry Funeral Home, 807 W. Chestnut Street.
Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home from 3 to 5 PM prior to the funeral.
