My condolences to all of the Barry family. Allen was a treasure and I will miss seeing him at the Sunrise in the mornings when I am in Illinois. I probably saw him more in the last year and a half since my dad's illness and passing than at any other time. About six weeks ago I stopped in to see Allen at the house. I had been reading through my grandmother's diaries which she kept from 1930 until 1995. Through those readings, I found that my grandparents were good friends of Bill and Florence Allen from Polo and that Bill worked with my grandfather who was custodian of White Pines State Park from 1956 until 1970. Allen related in that last conversation we had that Bill and Florence were his aunt and uncle. I am so glad that I stopped in to see him one last time and meet his gracious wife. Rest in peace, Allen.

Allen was a very special man in our family. He was one of my dad's best friends for over 50 years. He came to the 4-H fair in Oregon and purchased my kids cows for many years. He had a very giving heart and will be greatly missed. Rest in Peace AB.

Dear Barry Family:

The world needs more people like Allen Barry. The man loved his work and enjoyed the people that he met thru that work. There were likely more cattle fed in this area due to Allen Barry's passion for cattle feeding, than any other individual. I will miss his spirit and wisdom.

My condolences,

Mike Morris

Our Deepest Sympathy to Allen's family.
Allen was always willing to help 4-Hers. On Easter Sunday this year my daughter's 4-H heifer died. This was my daughter's last year in 4-H. When Allen found out what happened, he offered my daughter to pick out an animal from his stock and pay him back for the animal after she sold the animal at the 4-H Auction. Due to Allen's generosity, my daughter was able to participate in her last year in 4-H.
You are in our prayers. With Deepest Sympathy,
Elizabeth Johnson-Lovett, Bridgette Johnson, Bernadette Johnson, and Duane Lovett
