My wife Marti and I looked forward to seeing Al play with the reunion band at Northwestern University football games. Never could figure out how he could lug that Sousaphone on the field. As a fellow graduate of Northwestern he and I would talk about the University at our Jester meetings. We had a lot of fun together

So sorry Fran and family. Al and I played in the Drum and Bugle Corp for many years and became good friends. We will all miss him.
