ANNA L. PETERSON, 82 ROCKFORD - Anna L. Peterson, 82, of Rockford died at 11:15 a.m. Monday, April 4, 2011, in P.A. Peterson Center for Health. Born Oct. 14, 1928, in Chicago; the daughter of J. Fred and Irene (Carpenter) Lyons. Married Leonard M. Peterson on Aug. 16, 1950, in Rockford; he died July 12, 1993. Anna enjoyed needlework and ceramics, and volunteered at Midway Village and Peterson Meadows. Survived by sons, Lee (Julie) Peterson of North Carolina and Jay (Pat) Peterson of South Beloit; sisters, Tina (Dennis Smith) McCray of Colorado and Linda (Ron) Lanquist of Rockford; and nieces and nephews.
