ANNE E. 'ANNA' MICHALOWSKI, 96 ROCKFORD - Anne E. "Anna" Michalowski, 96, of Rockford died at 11:12 p.m. Monday, Nov. 7, 2011, in Amberwood Care Center. Born Feb. 15, 1915, in Milltown, N.J.; the daughter of Thomas F. and Marian (Zurich) Carr. She married John C. Michalowski on Aug. 5, 1933, in Milltown; he died Oct. 16, 1991, in South River, N.J. Member of Trinity Lutheran Church, and former member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ in Milltown. Also member of Women's Circle T.W.E.L.C.A. Survived by son, Thomas (Enid) Michalowski of Rockford; grandchildren, Karen (Larry) Barclay and Todd (Amy) Michalowski, both of Texas; great-grandchildren, John and Betsy Barclay, McKinley and Brennan Michalowski; sisters-in-law, Florence Petruska, Anna Michalowski and Mary Michalowski of New Jersey; and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased also by sister, Marjorie Chan, and several sisters-in-law. Service at 3 p.m. Friday, Nov. 11, in Olson Funeral & Cremation Services Ltd., Fred C. Olson Chapel, 1001 Second Ave., with visitation from 2 to 2:45 p.m.; the Rev. Jay Quinn will officiate. Graveside service at a later date in Van Liew Cemetery, North Brunswick, N.J. I helped take care of Ann at Rockford Nursing and Rehab. She was a verry sweet lady, I miss her so. It was a honor to have known her.
