ANTOINETTE MARIE 'TONI' CASSIOPPI, 86 ROCKFORD - Antoinette Marie "Toni" Cassioppi, 86, Rockford, passed away Monday, December 14, 2015, at River Bluff Nursing Home. She was born July 10, 1929, in Rockford, the daughter of John and Anna Cassioppi. Toni was a graduate of Muldoon Catholic High School. She worked as a secretary for Dr. Quinn for many years. Toni enjoyed playing Bridge and playing Canasta with her group of friends, poetry, reading, feeding the birds and squirrels, and entertaining guests. She was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church. Survived by her sister, Betty Cassioppi; her nieces and nephews, Louise (Karl) Frost, Joe (Roni) Paravala, Mose (Ann) Galluzzo, John (Jaquie) Cassioppi, Donna Strack, Peter (Cathy) Cassioppi, Carmin Choppie, John (Diane) Choppie, Richard Rupprechet, Randy (Judy) Rupprechet, Anne (Don) Henning, Robert (Mary) Cassioppi, Theresa McBain, Jean Mutimer, Annette (Bill) Nieman, and their families. Predeceased by her parents; her siblings and their spouses, Frank "Red" (Virginia) Cassioppi, Leonard (Marlene) Cassioppi, Mary (Alfred) Galluzzo, Martha (Jasper) Paravala, Tanie (William) Fiorenza, Catherine (William Choppie and Donald Gates), Corina (Earnest Rupprecht and John Contarino), and her special niece, Marie Paravala-Pravidica. Funeral Mass will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, December 19, 2015, at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, 1010 Ferguson St., Rockford, IL 61102, with the Franciscan Friars officiating.
