BLANCHE M. STOUFFER, 91 STERLING - Blanche M. Stouffer, 91, of Sterling died Monday, Jan. 26, 2009, in Rockford Memorial Hospital. Born March 14, 1917, in Glen Elder, Kan., the daughter of George and Katie Friesen. Married Harry Stouffer on June 21, 1946. Survived by husband, Harry; daughters, Mar-cy (Mark) Stouffer of Loves Park and Gail (Bob) Nevalainen of Kabetogama, Minn.; sons, Kenneth (Sophie) Stouffer of Chicago and Keith (Kathy) Stouffer of Sterling; seven grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. Predeceased by brothers, Leslie Friesen and Max Friesen; and sister, Helen Sedig. Service at 10:30 a.m. Friday Jan. 30, in Schilling Funeral Home. Burial in Oak Knoll Memorial Park in Sterling. Visitation from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 29, in the funeral home. A memorial has been established. Condolences may be sent to schillingfuneral home.com.
