Carol Johnson Obituary

CAROL ANN JOHNSON, 73 ROCKFORD - Carol Ann Johnson, 73, of Rockford passed away at 1:20 p.m. Monday, May 30, 2011, at Rockford Nursing and Rehab. Born March 19, 1938, daughter of Garrett "Gus" and Annie Wright. Carol was a loving mother, grandmother and great- grandmother. She was the foundation of her family, supporting them with her unconditional love. She touched the lives of everyone around her with her warm and caring heart and true kindness toward all. Carol was a native of Rockford and returned to the area after living in Spooner, Wis., for 15 years, where she had many friends and was active in the Shell Lake Full Gospel Church. Survived by her children, Judith (Mike) Greaves, Martha Johnson and Kimberly Donoso-Lopez, all of Rockford; six grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; brother, Charlie (Sheila) Wright, and nephew, David Wright, both of Montana; niece, Lisa Wright of Washington; and many friends. Services will be private. Grace Funeral & Cremation Services is assisting the family with arrangements.

Miss you, Aunt Carol. I cherish the times we did get to spend together, though distance often kept us apart. I'm holding my cousins in my heart!

Carol will be missed, she was a very nice person. My daughter Carla Lambert would bring her books to read. Carol was always pleasant to talk with while we were visting my mother in law Arma Lambert. You have our prayers. The Claudis Lambert Family.

I TRULY LOVED CAROL, WHEN I WOULD VISIT MY MOM ARMA LAMBERT IN THE NURSING HOME I WOULD VISIT CAROL. SHE ALWAYS GREETED ME WITH A SMILE, SO I CAN SAY SHES SMILING AND LOOKING DOWN ON US WITH THE ANGELS, SHE WILL BE TRULY MISSED, MY PRAYERS ARE WITH YOU ALL.......
