Charles Blade Obituary
Charles "Chuck" Edward Blade, 79, of Rochester, MN passed away December 12, 2017. He was born in Rockford, IL on June 27, 1938 to Marie and Fletcher Blade. He graduated from Rockford East High School and was active in Hi-C (High School Christian) and R.O.T.C. Chuck once worked as a machinist apprentice for Ingersoll Milling. Later graduated from Milwaukee School of Engineering in 1965, relocated to Rochester, MN where he worked for IBM before his Medical Retirement due to illness. Chuck is survived by his wife of many years, Libby (Sayre) of Edgerton WI; children Timothy (Donna), Trent (Unjoo), Troy (Mary), and Tricia (Bob Bixby); grandchildren, Stephen, Colin (Tim), Sarah (Trent), Mitchell (Troy), Westcott, Peyton, Taylor (Tricia); brother Thomas Blade (Sherry) of Rockford IL. Nieces & Nephews of Rockford area Lynn Stroval, Kim Redford, Chuck Blade, Clint Robbins, Dawn Shenberger; Preceded in death by his parents; and brother Gordon of Rockford IL.
A memorial service will be held on 11 am Tuesday December 19 at Calvary Evangelical Free Church of Rochester MN.
