I am so sorry to hear of Cheryl's passing. She was my yoga instructor at the YMCA and I always loved her bright smile and cheerful encouragement - which couldn't have always been easy at 5:45 in the morning. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

THE CANCER PRAYER
My beautiful child
I want you to know
Not a day goes by
That I don't love you so.
I know your thoughts, dreams and fear.
I witness the pain you feel with each tear.
Always remember My precious child,
I have been with you all through the years.
I know that cancer has changed your life
And filled your days with strife.
I know this is a heavy cross for you to carry
And is quite a sacrifice.
To help you through this trying time.
I am sending people to love you
And hold your hand.
It's all part of the Master's Divine Plan.
Many people don't know
What to say.
So many of My children fervently bow
Their heads and pray.
You are never alone.

I am sorry for your loss...I would like to make an awkward request...my husband had a Whipple Surgery for Pancreatic Cancer on March 11, 2009. He just turned 60 in November. At your convenience would you please contact me as I would like you speak to you about Cheryl's journey with this disease...please don't view me as unsympathetic but we struggle to find survivors from this unmerciful disease. Cheryl....The Ideal Nurse...Cheerful, Uplifting, Positive....for the patients she worked with. She was the role model for many of us nurses!!!

Rob & Boys: Know our thoughts and prayers are with you. As I struggle to find the correct words, I suddenly realize Cheryl's life, though filled with many struggles the last few years, is one we all can take something from. Faith, strength, courage and determination are only a few that comes to mind. These are traits you should be extremely proud to carry on in your own lives. She was such a joy to all those she met and befriended. May God bless you during this trying time and all of the days of your life.

Dear Alex ... and Rob, Ryan, Andy and Family: Our thoughts and prayers go out to all of you at this time and we share in your sorrow. Your Mom was such a STRONG and Beautiful Person on the Inside, as well as, the outside. Always smiling, always vibrant and always emanating strength and positivity and interest in other peoples lives. Cheryl's kindness and gentle spirit, her grace and manners, her giving nature and her strength are reflected in all of you. Gosh, how much she LOVED her boys, and thus, her boys friends and family. What amazing courage and grace and giving Cheryl exemplified for all of us to admire and learn from during her hard fought battle. Cheryl's capacity for love and her zest for life are examples for us all and her memory and her strength will live on in all of us and especially all of you. I appreciate all the nice words you all shared. It brought tears to my eyes. Tears not only of sadness but tears of pride and happiness to have been able to live and learn my life from her. Rob & Boys I was saddened by the news of your wife and mother. When volunteering at Blessing, I would come in contact with Cheryl and she always had a kind word. What a great world this would be if it was filled with people like Cheryl. I have been blessed by knowing her.

We were deeply saddened to learn of the loss of Cheryl. She was a warm, caring and beautiful person and always smiling. It has been a very long time since we have seen either of you but that does not, in any way, fade the wonderful memories we all have of the two of you and the rest of the Country Companies family.

Cheryl gave me hope and strength through my cancer treatments. I remember thinking that if this beautiful lady could go through her struggles with smiles and strength, I could too. Cheryl was one of the sweetest people I had ever met. I met her in my childhood & would visit the Hintz's home with some family friends of theirs. She was always a pleasure to be around & always had a smile on her face. Simply an overall great person & I'm very sad to hear of her passing. Her courage over the years was very admirable. I had the pleasure of seeing her again in Sept & am so glad I did. My heart goes out to her husband & boys.

Cheryl was an amazing woman. She was so inspirational and such a joy to be around. I first knew knew her from the YMCA.Then I became a cancer survivor myself, and she was so wonderful to me. She always so warm and friendly. I am truly blessed for having known her.My prayers are with her family at this time.

Cheryl will always be in my heart as she was a very dear friend to me. The miles did not keep us apart. She was my inspiration to stand tall in the fight against my own cancer. I will miss her terribly. John and I offer our support and love to her family at this time of loss. We have so many good memories with you Rob and the boys. Our families grew up together. We shall be there for all of you. Cheryl was truly a strong and beautiful person. You should be very proud of her accomplishments and of the person she was. Take care.
