Just heard of Ed's passing today. Over the last 10 years when I visited him with a need mower repair, Ed was always very interested in my situation with and a speed repair/tuneup in response. "I'll have it done by the end of the day." Ed never failed. He was always such a honest, joyful person. I always felt so welcome by him & his sons, when I came with my needed repairs.

The man that is Ed Wynn can not be put into words. Never has a man molded such lives as this man has every one that knew him was the better for it. With that being said the love his family has for him is infinit and eternal. With all the world has come to i know that i will come out the other side strong for the wisdom my GrandFather gave me will carry me through. Enjoy your peace you angel of the lord. We will see you again when it's our turn to join you. I was lucky to have you in my life.

Hey Papa Ed, I miss you already,
But I know your in a better place.
Up in Heaven; getting it ready,

You're up there improving things,
This is something we all know.
While a little bird sings,
You're probably asking God if you can mow.

You can do all the fishing you want now,
But in only the best boat.
Since weather doesn't apply to thou,
Imagine ALL those fishies you'll tote.

There is ONE sure thing I know;
I'll never say goodbye to you,
Because my heart won't let you go.
So, goodnight papa, I love you &
I know you love me too.

We met Ed when I learned of his lawn mower repair business, and have always used him for any repairs needed on our mower or snowblower. Great guy who will be missed by all who really got to know him. We are so saddened to hear of his passing. Wayne and Jan Morris-Rockford

My grandpa Ed was the most greatest man anyone would ever meet. He was my idol, and everything I accomplished was for him. He was more than my grandpa he was like a father to me. He meant the whole world to me and I love him to pieces. Grandpa you will always be loved and remembered. Rest in Paradise.

The legacy Ed has left behind is great to those that were blessed enough to have him as a part of their life. He was the most honest, successful, self confident, hard working, loving, caring, giving, family man that I have ever known. The values and morals he has passed on to my children and others in his family are infinite. I wonder now if he knew the impact that he had as he sat in the garage working on lawn mowers and talking with "the guys". And how those fishing trips and vacations in Arkansas brought wisdom and joy that will forever be instilled into the heart of my son. How he showed the girls in his life that good men do exist and taught the boys how become one. Walking through the door of that house will never be the same. I know that I am a better person because I was honored and blessed enough to know Ed and that he will always hold a special place in my heart and the hearts of my children.
