My uncle Gene was the sweetest man. He was creative and funny and passed no judgement on anyone. He was always genuinely interested in what was going on in my life, and I always appreciated that about him. In his passing, I've learned so much about him that I didn't fully realize - how brave he was, and really how much of a fearless rascal he was!

I will miss him a lot, but it gives me ease of mind to know he is out of pain and in a better place. Rest in peace my sweet uncle.
