When I was working the court house as a deputy, George always had a piece of candy and a big smile to make my day. He had a positive attitude each and every day. He was a great guy loved by everyone! He will always be remembered and loved.

George stood out as a very kind gentleman. We know George from working with him in the DeKalb County courthouse. He brought joy to everyone he touched, and his kindness embraced all visitors of the Courthouse. He consistently had a smile, a kind word, and of course, candy. Our family offers our sincere condolences to his family.

I only met George once and that was in his final hours when I transported him home from the hospital. There is no doubt that he was surrounded by family that loved him deeply, I could feel it. God bless you Brumley family in this difficult time. Rest in peace "Papa".

Brumley Family...I met George when I worked for the Sheriffs Dept. He always welcomed me with a smile. When I began working as a police officer, I saw him more frequently. He always had a piece of candy and a smile, no matter what. May your memories bring you comfort. He was a wonderful man and I am lucky to have known him.

Rosemarie and Family:
I am so saddened to hear of George's passing. I worked with him for years through Anderson Funeral Home in Dekalb. We always had great and fun conversations and I remember him as such an "enlightened face " to have at the court house. George was a happy, smiling person always with a story to relate.
May God's grace and peace be with your family at this diffucult time.

Ahhhh....Mr. Brumley...what a wonderful man with a great family - one that I have had the privilege of knowing! He is so missed by all. My heart & prayers are with he & his earthly family. He is now in heaven with his heavenly family & in their arms & safe.

What a handsome man and one with charm, charisma, compassion, and warmth - all topped off with a wonderful sense of humor and a smile on his face. What more could one ask for in a husband, father, and friend? It is a very sad time, but also a time to reflect on the gift of George's life to others. Rosie and family, I know you ache and you hurt, but at the same time, how very blessed you all are to be the ones who got to be the closest to him during his life. And how very happy you made him as well. Thinking of you, donna hill
