JACK A. BRAMEL, 67 CALEDONIA - Jack A. Bramel, 67, of Caledonia died at 6:30 p.m. Wed-nesday, June 10, 2009, in OSF Saint Anthony Medical Center, after a long illness. Born April 10, 1942, in Rockford; the son of Jack E. and Daisy Marie (Anderson) Bramel. He married Sally Mandera on Sept. 2, 1968; she died Oct. 2, 1978. Jack later married Sharon M. Monette on July 26, 1985, in Rockford. He was a machinist at Service Engineering, Warner Lambert and Green Giant. Member of Christ Lutheran Church, Radio Control Flyers Club, Engineering Society and Amica Player Piano Society. Survived by wife, Sharon; children, Lori Murphy and John Bramel of Rockford, Lisa (David) Lewellen of Phoenix, Heather Steele of Asheville, N.C., and Michael (Jacqueline) Bramel of Lindenhurst; grandchildren, Joshua and Brittney Lewellen, Alison Brohaugh, Breanna Bramel and Vincent Bramel; great-grandchild, Hailee Lewellen; and brother, Bob Bramel of Rockford. Predeceased by his parents. Service at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 13, in Christ Lutheran Church, 425 Riverside, Belvidere, with the Rev. Troy Hedrick and Mrs. Elizabeth Martin A.I.M. officiating. Visitation from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, June 12, in Olson Funeral and Cremation Services Ltd., North Main Chapel, 2811 N. Main St., and from 10 to 10:45 a.m. Saturday in the church. Private burial.
