Jack Freeberg Obituary
Jack R. Freeberg, 91, of Rockford, died in his home on December 26, 2017. He was born June 17, 1926 in Princeton, IL, the son of Charles E. and Elsie (Brunnemyer) Freeberg. He married Lorrine Freberg in Oregon, IL on September 8, 1948. She predeceased him February 18, 2013. Jack was a World War II veteran of the US Army 11th Air Borne Division. Jack was the owner of Freeberg Upholstery for 72 years. He is survived by his children, Bonnie McBride and John Roger Freeberg; 3 grandchildren; siblings, Charles Willis Freeberg, Bonnie Klamen, Alice Vaile, Marilyn Cibu, and Sandra Houlck; sisters-in-law, Caroline Neck and Judy Turner; and brother-in-law, Mervin Hanson. Predeceased by sons, Charles Jack Freeberg and Thomas Edward Freeberg and a brother, John Graham Freeberg.
