Jean Reinders

JEAN LOUISE REINDERS, 53 ROCKFORD - Jean Louise Reinders, 53, passed away peacefully, Tuesday, June 24, 2014, at home, following a courageous battle with cancer. She was born February 18, 1961, in Rockford, the daughter of John and Janice (Viel) Reinders. Jean married Robert L. Zadek, Jr. in Rockford on August 13, 2012. She was employed at Beef-a-Roo Inc. for 32 years, retiring in 2013. Jean was a member of Heartland Community Church, a 1979 graduate of Byron High School and was certified in Radiology. She enjoyed traveling to many places throughout the world and enjoyed spending time at their vacation home in Charleston, SC. Jean was a die-hard Miami Dolphins fan and loved sunflowers. Jean is survived by her loving husband, Robert; her brother and his wife, Jerry and Laurie Reinders of Byron and their children, Kyle and Kristen; her step children, Kamilla and Robert Zadek; her father and mother-in law, Robert and Rosemarie Zadek, Sr. of Rockford; sister-in-law and her husband, Pamela and David Wise of Byron and their children, Samantha and Emma; and her little companion, Carmello. Special thanks to the doctors, nurses, and staff in the Oncology Department at OSF St. Anthony in Rockford and the University of Wisconsin Carbone Cancer Center in Madison for their kind and compassionate care. A Celebration of Life service will be held at 3 p.m. Monday, June 30, 2014, at Fitzgerald Funeral Home and Crematory, Mulford Chapel, 1860 S. Mulford Rd.
