JEFFREY Q. LIND, 58 GLENDALE, Ariz. - Jeffrey Q. Lind, 58,passed away suddenly Wednesday, April 25, 2012, in Glendale. Born Sept. 12, 1953, to Quinten W. and Phyllis A. Lind. Jeff was a 1972 graduate of East High School. His love for the outdoors took him to Colorado, Utah, New Mexico, Nevada, California, Montana and Arizona, where he spent his last 27 years. He worked for the city of Phoenix as a civil inspector, retiring in 2009. Jeff was an avid sports enthusiast, collected memorabilia and a No. 1 Cubs fan. He loved his many pets, his cabin in Flagstaff and his visits with friends at the pool. His family will miss him deeply. Survivors include his significant other for 26 years, Terrie Dian Luna; mother, Phyllis of Rockford, Ill.; sisters, Jodi (Jeff) Smith of New Milford, Ill., Jill (Mike) Rathbun of Victor, N.Y., Jan Willis of Byron, Ill., and Jamie (Mark) Lawson of Suwanee, Ga.; many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. Predeceased by father and grandparents. A special thanks to the staff at Thunderbird Banner Hospital. In June a celebration of Jeff's life will be held in the mountains of Arizona. Memorials to American Heart Association and Zion Lutheran Church.
