I am watching an interview with Mr. Hogfeldt on Youtube. I'm grateful for his service to the country and his willingness to share his experience. He seems like a thoughtful and modest man, and although he left us a long time ago, I wanted to say thank you and offer my sympathy to his family.

Bob was my dad's WWII friend. Dad talked of him so often. It was a real treat to know they were reunited several years ago. My sympathy and understanding of your loss goes out to the whole family.

Bob was my Mother's cousin. I fondly remember the July 4th celebrations with Penny + him, along with the rest of my Scandinavian relatives at Uncle Hjalmar's + Aunt Agnes's place. My sympathies to Penny + all.
