Joshua Alexander Brown ROCKTON - Joshua Alexander Brown passed peacefully in the arms of his loving parents Tuesday, June 29, 2010, shortly after entering the world and filling our hearts with a lifetime of love. He is being greeted with love in heaven by his four siblings, maternal great-grandparents, Alexander and Rose Pumilia and Sam Ferraro; paternal great-grandparents, Ron Brown and Roland Dirksen; his aunt, Stephanie (Brown) Takala; and his grandma, Kathy Ferraro; and papa, Robert Thompson. He is also survived my numerous great aunts, uncles and cousins. We would like to thank Susan Schloff and the Schloff family, the Yep family and Michele Peterson and her family. Your faith and love has shown us that if you keep your eyes on God and believe and trust in him there is nothing in life too difficult to overcome. A special thank-you to all of the doctors and nurses that have cared for Michele and little Joshua, including Dr. Holden and his nurses and staff; Dr. Manas and his nurses and staff; Dr. Kaufman; Dr. Malone; and all of the nurses in labor and delivery at Rockford Memorial Hospital, especially nurses Meg, Di, Andrea, Dawn, Angie, Lindsey and Karen. Lastly we have to thank Dr. Briggs, who delivered and baptized Joshua. These doctors' and nurses' genuine concern and caring for Michele were instrumental in helping us through this journey. Mass will be at noon Thursday July 8, in St. Peter Catholic Church, South Beloit, with visitation from 10 a.m. to service time. Interment in Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Dear Michelle and Josh,

I am so sorry for your loss. I apologize for not responding sooner as I was not sure this was your precious baby boy and I didn't feel it appropriate to ask this evening. God, your family and friends will help you through this time. My thoughts and prayers are with you. Please, if there is "anything" either of you need I am here at any time.
