Kevin P. Richardson 1958—2016
Kevin P. Richardson, 57, of South Beloit, IL, passed away Thursday, June 30, 2016, in Beloit Memorial Hospital. He was born July 30, 1958, in Beloit, WI, the son of Myles and Frances (McMaster) Richardson. Kevin was a 1978 graduate of Hononegah High School. He married Jeanie Negley on June 13, 1984, in Las Vegas, NV. Kevin attended Police Academy and was formerly employed as a police officer in Roscoe, IL. He also was employed By Taylor Freezer. Kevin was a friend to everyone he met and was especially fond of his many loving pets. Kevin never met a creature he didn't like and never judged a person according to the opinions of others. He was a compassionate man and a loving husband and father who will be dearly missed. Survivors include his wife, Jeanie Richardson of South Beloit, IL; daughter, Katie Marie (Mike Lund) Richardson of South Beloit, IL; grandson born on July 1, 2016, Kevin Paul Lund; brothers and sisters, Tim (Janet) McMaster of Tennessee, Scott Richardson of Roscoe, IL, Carol (Carl) Austin of Janesville, WI, and Mark (Holly) Richardson of Roscoe, IL; numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents and son, Ethan Carr Richardson, on August 24, 1992.
A visitation for Kevin will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, July 7, 2016, in the Daley Murphy Wisch & Associates Funeral Home and Crematorium, 2355 Cranston Road, Beloit, WI. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.daleymurphywisch.com

Jeanie, We are all so sorry for you and Katie's loss. Not sure if you will remember me, we worked Bingo together at Forest Hills Lodge over 20 years ago. We used to go to my Mom's to swim and play cards (She loved giving you the Queen of Spades). Kevin was always our cook because he would make the most amazing BBQ Sauce. Kristy and Steve McCormick and Arlene Aase.

Jeanie, I'm not sure if you will remember me,it has been over 20 years. My thoughts and prayers go out to the entire richardson family, in the loss of Kevin. I wish I could of been there for the visitation. I have not seen Kevin for some time but will always remember him with that smile and laugh and his genuine concern for all. Please let me know when the memorial service is taking place. May God be with you all in this time of your loss and guide you as you go forward knowing Kevin is with him. His and your Cousin Kurt
