I have fond memories of Laura and her ever-present smile. The news of her untimely passing came as a shock to me.

Frank, children, and family, I am so sorry for your loss. I too was raised near were Laura lived, but never met her till YEARS later, glad I did. I won't forget Lovely Laura's wonderful personality and how special she made me feel.
Her favorite saying was,''Heaven is one day closer.'' Enjoy JESUS my friend.

Dear Family I got the great pleasure to meet Laura the last year. She always had a beautiful smile and a hug to give I learned a lot from her and I wish I had more time with her I miss her already. We had the pleasure to get to know DeeDee while attending NLBC in the early 80's. Sad of her passing but know she is at peace with her Savior. Our sympathy to Ron, children and family. God be with you at this time of sorrow.

Ron and kids, I'm sorry for your loss. I haven't Laura in several years, but I remember her as very warm and loving. She loved her kids and would do anything for them. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

I was shocked and deeply saddened to hear that Laura died. She was such a sweet, caring, loving person and a fun friend. I wish I knew of the memorial service at Heartland because i would have been there. We didn't talk or see each other that often, but we always prayed for each other's families. She had that gorgeous smile and beautiful eyes and always looked so pretty. So very sorry. Will pray for Frank and her kids. God bless, Barb Vanhille (Rockford, IL)

I am deeply saddened to hear of Dee Dee's passing. She was my first friend as a child and I have many fond memories of our times together. Miles and years separated us but she has always occupied a special place in my heart and she will never be forgotten.

Some women are simply beautiful on the inside, not so,with Dee Dee. Her beauty began inside and radiated out to all who knew her. I remember her kind and encouraging words when I was facing a crisis time in my life. She truly could rejoice with those who rejoice and weep with those who weep.

My memories of Dee Dee are so precious. When she loved, it was with her entire being. When I worked at NLCS, often she would pop her beautiful face in my window with that million dollar smile, and there was this angelic glow around her. I could not be depressed when around her, because she always saw the good in others, and always made you feel important and loved. She and I recently reconnected on Facebook, and it was a joy to be in touch with her once again. Dee Dee had this unique quality of loving without conditions, from deep within her heart and soul. I pray that God will give you, her family, the strength and peace that is promised in His Holy Word. There is a peace that is not of this world, the kind that passes all of our human understanding.
