Lillian Garnhart Obituary

LILLIAN M. GARNHART, 85 ROCKFORD - Lillian M. Garnhart, 85, of Rockford passed away Sunday, December 14, 2014. Born April 11, 1929 in the state of Vermont to Pascal and Abby (Sapho) Austin. She married the love of her life Robert Garnhart, her husband of 47 years. Lillian was a beautician who owned and operated Lillian's Beauty Box for 18 years. She never missed a football game when her husband or children were playing. Lillian had a passion for fishing and loved spending time with her family whenever she could. She will be truly missed. Survivors include her children, Robert (Katrina), Jay (Lorri), and Jeffery (Sylvia) Garnhart; grandchildren, Corrine, Justin, Brandon, Morisa, Morgan, Amy, Andrea, Ryan, Jessica, and Kaitlin; 13 great-grandchildren; sister, Ruth Strote, and several loving nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her husband; parents; 2 sisters, and 2 brothers. Private family funeral service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the family for a memorial to be established at a later date. Online condolences may be submitted at www.sunsetfhmemgardens.com.
