Linda Trickle Obituary

LINDA EILEEN TRICKLE, 93 MACHESNEY PARK - Linda Eileen Trickle, 93, of Machesney Park entered into eternal life Wednesday, Jan. 20, 2010. Linda was born June 27, 1916, in La Crosse, Wis., to George and Emma (Hanson) Schultz. She married Daniel Trickle on Oct. 17, 1936, in Wisconsin Rapids. She was employed by Grant County Senior Center of Platteville, Wis., for 25 years. Linda was a member of First Congregational Church of Platteville. She and Daniel owned and operated family farms in the Platteville area. She enjoyed spending time with family, camping and traveling. Survivors include her daughter, Mary Sasman of Machesney Park; her son, David (Sandy) Trickle of Hartland, Wis.; grandchildren, Ammie (David) Gough of Machesney Park, Julie (Gary) Thornton of Rockton, Kenneth Sasman of Arkansas and Lisa (Justin) Pichler and Brett Balistreri, both of Wisconsin; great-grandchildren, Tyler, Cody, Amber, Brady and Bryce; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents; her husband; and son-in-law, Russell Sasman. Service will be at 2 p.m. Monday, Jan. 25, in Taylor, Vollert and Jennings Funeral Home, Wisconsin Rapids, Wis., where friends may call from noon until service time; the Rev. Paul Veldman will officiate. Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established by the family.
