LUCIA TRIPOLI, 66 ROCKFORD - Lucia Tripoli, 66, died at 12:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 8, 2013, in Lancaster, PA, after a brief illness. She was born February 9, 1947, in Alia, Sicily; the daughter of Vincenzo and Gaetana Mazzarisi. She lived 50 years in Rockford, coming here from Alia Prov. Palermo, Sicily. She married Guiseppi Tripoli in Palermo, Sicily on January 29th, 1966. She was an Owner/Operator of a family restaurant. Lucia was a member of St. Anthony Church. Survivors include husband, Giuseppi Tripoli of Rockford; son, Frank (Joan) Tripoli of Willowstreet, PA, son, Vince Tripoli of Milwaukee, WI, daughter, Lena Ripley (Ben) of South Lyon, MI, son, Tom Tripoli of Rockford, son, Ross Tripoli of Rockford and son, Michael Tripoli of Willowstreet, PA; grandchildren, Alexis Tripoli, Joseph Tripoli, Sophia Ripley, Gabriella Tripoli, Joseph Ripley, Mia Tripoli, Sophia Tripoli, Anthony Tripoli and Gionny Tripoli; brothers, Ignazio (Lena) Mazzarisi, Leborio (Giuseppina) Mazzarisi and Salvatore Mazzarisi. She was predeceased by her brothers, Pasquale and Stefano Mazzarisi. Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Monday, October 14, 2013, in St. Anthony Church, with Franciscan Friars officiating. Entombment to follow in Calvary Mausoleum. Visitation will be in Gasparini & Oliveri Funeral Home from 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday, October 13, 2013, with a rosary recited at 4:30 p.m. Friends may call again Monday morning at the church from 9:30 a.m. until service time.
