Julie, Steve and Bill, I am so sorry to hear Matt has passed away. I was shocked to see this in the paper. What a wonderful man who help make so many great memories. I will pray for all of you in this sad time.

So sorry to hear of Matt's passing! My condolences to Julie and the family. In my rookie season at Angell Park in 1967, Matt and I were team-mates driving for John Eggers, Jim Vetting & Gene Meyer. Matt was the Badger Midget Driving Champion at Angell Park that year in the black #5 owned by Gene Meyer. He was always a professional and a super nice guy! May he rest in peace!
