Merry Osborne Obituary
Merry Jean Osborne, 58, of Rockford, passed away peacefully Wednesday, December 13, 2017, in Swedish American Hospital, surrounded by her loved ones. Merry was born November 21, 1959, in Rockford, the daughter of Edward Cline and Gladys Jean Osborne of Monroe Center, IL. Merry loved animals, especially her faithful friend, Chewy. She loved the outdoors and when in better health, she enjoyed fishing. Most of all, Merry loved her four boys. They were her life. Merry is survived by her beloved sons, George, Edward, Bobby, and Michael; 10 grandchildren; brothers, Melvin (Vickie) Osborne of Florida, and Bud Osborne of Alabama; sisters, Nancy (Ronnie) Miller of Lindenwood, IL and Debbie Johnson of Ashton, IL; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents.
In lieu of public services, the family will hold a private memorial at a later date.

I knew Merry for many years and even though we had our bad days, I loved her deeply. She was a great woman and an amazing grandmother. She loved her grandkids more than I have ever seen anyone love anything. She was tough and stubborn, but she had a heart that was very giving. I should've done more for her. I am so very sorry for your loss.
