MICHAEL J. LAMONT, 61 ROSCOE - Michael J. Lamont, 61, of Roscoe passed away Sunday, Aug. 3, 2008, in his home surrounded by his family and friends. Born April 8, 1947, in Rockford, son of Elwin and Grace (Zacharias) Lamont. Following his graduation from Auburn High School, Michael enlisted with the U.S. Army Reserves. He was employed by Humphrey Cadillac and Olds for more than 25 years, and later worked for Jack Wolf Auto Center as a service writer. Michael enjoyed his horse, Rambo, yard work and was always up for a family event with his nieces and nephews. Survived by brothers, Kerry (Pat) Lamont of Loves Park and David Lamont of Rockford; nephews, Corey (Misty Brown) Lamont, Travis (Cindie) Lamont and Scott (Randae) Lamont; niece, Tracey (Chris) Melcher; and great-nieces and -nephews, Zack, Sean and Ariana, Hayden, Thea and Joseph. Predeceased by parents; and sister, Grael Lamont in 1991. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank-you to his wonderful friend and neighbor Kenny (Sandy) Brewer and to Heartland Hospice staff, Jenny, Angel, Mary, Elaine and Suzanne Fingerle. Service at 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 9, in Fitzgerald Funeral Home and Crematory, Riverside Chapel, 3910 N. Rockton Ave., with visitation from 9 a.m. to time of service; the Rev. Dr. William R.
