Patrick Nelligan Obituary

PATRICK MICHAEL NELLIGAN, 67 BELVIDERE - Patrick Michael Nelligan, 67, of Belvidere passed away at home Saturday, June 2, 2012. He was born July 11, 1944, in Chicago, son of Joseph and Violet Sebina (May) Nelligan. He graduated from college in Chicago. A Belvidere resident for the past 19 years, Patrick was a former administrator with Rockford Anesthesiologists and the owner of the Butler Café in Belvidere before retiring. He loved woodworking and was an avid golfer. He is survived by son, Chris Nelligan; daughter, Debbie Nelligan; five grandchildren; brother, Gregory Keith (Patricia) Nelligan; sister, Lurese (Edward) Muchala; fiancée, Peggy Douthat. He was predeceased by his parents. Visitation from 10 a.m. to noon Wednesday, June 6, at Belvidere Funeral Home. Graveside service Wednesday in Belvidere Cemetery immediately after visitation, with the Rev. Thomas Bartolomeo of St. James Catholic Church officiating.
