Dear Jack and family. We're sorry to hear about Phoebe. Being one of the younger cousins, I know we didn't get together very much but I have always had great respect for your family and it's faith and values. Our prayers are with you and the family during this difficult time. We also enjoyed your family letter at Christmas time. I know you had a great life together. I hope knowing you will meet her again gives you comfort. Gene and Lila

Dear Jack, Bruce, John, Wendy and Wayne,
Please accept my sympathy on the the loss of your wife and mother, Phoebe. She provided some of the happiest of memories of my Loves Park, Illinois childhood! I remember many happy hours playing with "the kids" in the basement and yard and her devotion to the health and happiness of her family. I also remember Lent services with her and her mother, Mrs. Anderson @ Concordia. Proverbs 31:10-35 describes her Christian life but not the joy she gave to everyone around her.

Dear Schandelmeiers, Thank you for sharing the wonderful woman you called "Phoebe" and "Mom" with us. I will always remember her warm brown eyes, her delightful smile, her infectious laugh, her enveloping hugs, and the love that she showed her family, her friends, and her Lord. What a truly great example of a full and well-lived Christian life she modeled for us all. Your family is in my thoughts and prayers.

Mom, you lived your faith every day and in every way. You were a wonderful witness and started us (& everyone you met) in the right direction and it encourages us to stay very involved with our congregations. I thank Jesus our Saviour, for giving you to me.
See you in heaven!!
