To the Yeske family.
I have been going to Bob for haircuts since I was 13 years old, I am now 49.
He always talked about chopping wood, shooting bow and arrows, and especially his son, Nathan. He was so proud of his son.
He was the only person I ever met that could put 400 thousand miles on a car.
I believe that the good Lord needed a hair stylist in heaven and he chose Bob.
He will truly be missed.

To the Yeske Family and Friends:
I just learned of Bob's passing yesterday.
Bob started cutting my hair when I was 14 years old, and I'm now 50. He's been the only barber I've had for 36 years. I was thinking last night that, with the exception of family, there are very few people that I had a longer friendship with than I did with Bob. When I was attending NIU in the eighties, I would make my monthly trip home to Rockford so that Bob could cut my hair. I couldn't imagine going to anyone else.
My trips to visit Bob at The Captian's Chair always came with an excellent haircut, but even better conversation. Bob was always interested in the latest news on my family, and in 36 years, I don't ever recall a haircut that didn't involve an update on the latest with his. In the future, I will be able to get a haircut from anyone, but I will truly miss those conversations.

Dear Patty et al,
We were so saddened to learn of Bob's passing - especially so that it was difficult and there was little support for you, Patty.
As you know, we relied on him tremendously. We have lit a candle for him to pray for his peaceful passing to eternal life.
We will see you tomorrow. Our hearts go out to you.

To the Yeske family. Bob was a wonderful man and may God bless his soul. He did my entire families hair for many years and was a great friend! Prayers to all

Good Man Bob.
You cut my hair and you shared your life - a life cut far too short. May the Lord bless you and keep you. May you rest in peace. And, I'm sure there are some very nice golf courses where you now resice.
To Bob's family, the Kelley family extends our deepest sympathies. May the Lord comfort you in your grief.
