Simon Campa Obituary
Simon Campa Jr. 73 of Loves Park passed away surrounded by family at 4:35 p.m. Friday July 2, 2021 at home. He was born on May 6, 1948 in Devine, Texas to Maria L. Campa and Simon Campa Sr. He last worked at Chrysler Corp. He loved his family. He loved painting and playing his guitar. But mostly he enjoyed spending time with his two sons and granddaughter. He was a loving and caring father. Survivors include his sons Simon Campa, Jesse Campa, and his granddaughter Tessa, sister Dora (Hector) Dominguez, brother George (Debbie) Campa, brother Roy Campa, and sister Betty (Roland) Selgado. Predeceased by parents and sister (Patsy). A memorial will be held at 1:00 p.m. August 1 at Atwood Homestead, Old Settler's shelter 1. In lieu of flowers memorials may be given in care of the family.

My deepest condolences to the family. I met Simon was I was 15 years old in the summer of 1970. Long story short he kept my ring safe for me for 10 years and return it back to me. Never got to see each other again but I felt like a had a friend in him.
