Bill was our friend and neighbor when I was a boy growing up in Rockford, and was really a second father, joining my father and me for hunting and fishing. When my dad wasn't able to go, Bill would take me, and I was always welcome to shot pool or pjay the pinball machine in his basement. I lost track of Bill many years ago, but still have some wonderful memories. My condolences to the family.
