CECIL RODRIGUEZ It is with profound sadness that we share the passing of our beloved husband, father, brother, and uncle, Cecil Rodriguez. He left this world on 10/7/24 at the age of 68, surrounded by family, friends, and his beloved dog, Pita. Cecil was a man of immense humor and wisdom of life. He cherished every moment spent with his beloved wife Tammy, his children, grandchildren, great-grandchild, and extended family. He worked in many trades throughout his lifetime, such as roofing and heavy machine operation, and spent several years working in a Temple tire shop. "Big Daddy," as most people knew him, was a weaver of big tales, and his stories were legendary; these tales made him a new set of friends everywhere he went as he never met a stranger. In his later years, Cecil accepted Jesus Christ into his life and became a regular member of his church. Cecil is preceded in death by his father, mother, brothers, and numerous other family members. He leaves behind on this earth his beloved wife of 34 years, Tammy Rodriguez; his children, son Cecil Rodriguez and wife Jessica, daughter Amanda Ward, son Micheal Ward and wife Shellie, son Jarrod Ward (Mijo) and wife Angelita, daughter Myranda and husband Gavin, daughter Kassandra Donaldson and husband Jimmy, 19 grandchildren, one great-grandchild, and his special companion Pita Girl as well as seven siblings and numerous other family and friends. Cecil, we will carry you in our hearts and minds, and your stories will live on until we meet again in the arms of the lord. Services will be held at the Glory Road Cowboy Church in Ballinger, TX, on Saturday, October 19th, at 1:00 pm.
