Carroll Buffum Obituary
He was born July 28, 1936, in Arlington, the son of Cecil and Christie (Slason) Buffum.
He retired in 1991 from General Electric after 30 years' employment.
Mr. Buffum was known as an award-winning, published author and poet, as well as a member of the International Poetry Hall of Fame.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, hiking and music.
Survivors include his wife, Nancy (Baker), whom he married March 23, 1957, and a son, Carroll Buffum Jr., both of Clarendon; five siblings, Charlotte Adams of Wells, his twin Carolyn Jones, Cecil, both of Tinmouth, Claude of Rutland and Charles Buffum of Castleton; three step-siblings, Joanne Holub of Lebanon, N.H., Ella Barrows of Dorchester, N.H., and Richard Baker of Enfield, N.H.; many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by two stepbrothers, Fredrick Jr. and Gilbert Baker, and his stepfather, Fredrick Baker Sr.
There will be no calling hours. The celebration of his life will be held at a later date.

To the entire Buffum family.
I was truely sadden to hear of Carroll's passing. I know that he will be greatly missed, however we know that he is with his loved ones that went on before and most of all with our Heavenly Father and Lord Jesus Christ.
You all have my deepest sympathy and condolences and my prayers. I know that you will truely miss your husband, your Dad, your Brother and Uncle. May the peace and love of our Heavenly Father give you confort.
