Douglas Brown Obituary
Born Jan. 7, 1942, in Rutland, he was the son of Velma (Corey) and Merritt "Tink" Brown.
Mr. Douglas worked at Telescope Casual Furniture in Granville, N.Y.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, bowling and was known for his gardens.
Survivors include his wife, Carol (Chamberlain) Brown, whom he married Sept. 29, 1962; three daughters, Kim Jones of West Pawlet, Molly Jones of Poultney and Melissa Mullen of North Pawlet; and five grandchildren.
The funeral service will be held at noon Sunday, Jan. 12, at Pawlet Community Church where friends may call from 11 a.m. prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Granville Rescue Squad, 64 East Potter Ave., Granville, NY 12832; or Senior Meals on Wheels, 80 Belden Road Unit 6, Rutland, VT 05701.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Robert M. King Funeral Home in Granville, N.Y.
