John Tidd Obituary
He was born March 4, 1945, in Bennington, the son of Charles Tidd and Celia (Mears) Long.
For the past 30 years, Mr. Tidd drove tractor trailers for Tropicana Products in Bradenton until his retirement in 2005.
Survivors include two children, John Tidd Jr., of Torrington, Connecticut, and Maureen Fitzgerald, of Sun City, Florida; eight grandchildren; two sisters, Jeanne Denette, of Shaftsbury, and Dianne Marchinkowski, of Pownal; an aunt, several nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was predeceased by two sisters, Barbara Leonard and Corrine Tidd.
Burial is in Park Lawn Cemetery in Bennington.
Arrangements are by Mahar & Son Funeral Home in Bennington.

My condolences for your loss. I know this is a difficult time of sorrow and pain, and words cannot truly express how you feel. But please take comfort in what is recorded at PSALMS 145:19 tells us, that God hears your cries for help and He will save you.
